Race cars, airplanes, a pile of crates: It’s the Disney Afternoon Collection! Back on a Nintendo system after it was stranded in the era of the WiiU for nearly a decade, I got excited about having access to this collection of classic Capcom titles. Naturally, I had to run through as many of these chunks of my childhood as possible with the usual knuckleheads like Morning Song, fanboymaster, BEAT, Cassandralyn, Trynant, Caliscrub, Jeanie, Chromes, Caithness, Ample Vigour, and Megs in the chat demanding microtransactions (it’s what Walt Disney would have wanted). Enjoy hearing an awful lot of undeserved judgement from the audience as I beat the entirety of Ducktales (NES), Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers (NES), Bonkers (SNES), “Stage 1” (it’s bigger than it sounds) of Goof Troop (SNES), and four stages of Darkwing Duck (NES). Come for three separate sewer levels, stay for the eternal zombies vs burritos debate. There is analysis of the beatitudes from Bible! What more could you ask for in one Disney Afternoon (Night)?
