There was a pending thunderstorm that never happened, but such a predicted weather event meant we took a week off from our usual streamathons to play something else. First up, we have Smash Brothers Remix: Version 2.0.0, which was vaguely recently released as of this stream. It is N64 Super Smash Bros. all over again, but with a few additions, like a surly bandicoot, an even more surly squirrel, and the surliest piano. We scoot through a few extra modes and extra stages on that for a little over an hour, and then we move over to Super Mario Eclipse. This one is a remix of Super Mario Sunshine, complete with new moves, new areas, and “interconnections” between the various levels. Unfortunately, we do not see much of the new content, as I can only blurf for so long. But there are definitely a few fresh tricks in there! I only die in one area 29 times! Regardless, what was intended to be a “quickie” stream due to weather wound up being one of our longest efforts. Weird how that works out. Join Cassandralyn, Caithness, Chromes, fanboymaster, BEAT, Trynant, Morning Song, and Jeanie as we see a couple of remixed games involving Mario.
