Fina has joined the party! So BEAT is going back to the first dungeon for one dumb powerup! Eh, whatever makes our new ghost buddy slightly more powerful…
Most of this week sees our loveable rogues visit Nasr, home of the ugliest bird-camels you have ever seen. But there is Rokwyrm, too, so it’s not all bad. Bellena joins the gang temporarily, but she is revealed to be all bad, and turns out to be Belleza of that malevolent empire that keeps trying to kill us. She awakens the world’s largest Wugtrio, and our foursome barely escape with their lives (Belleza makes out worse, though). And a magical rock is reclaimed! Mission accomplished! Mostly!
For a little extra content this week, we also tackle Rupee of the Larso Clan (with his sidekick, Barta), and close out the night with our first battle against Piastol, the Angel of Death. We mostly survive!
And that’s that! Time to move on to Ixa’Taka for the Green Gemerald.

- We are talking about Baltor the Black Pirate, not Balto, so absolutely no goose f%*#ing. To reinforce this, we’ve got Caithness, Cassandralyn, Chromes, Jeanie, Morning Song, and fanboymaster. Boog is also happily hovering around the chat.
- Ample Vigour joins as BEAT shows off some required foreshadowing.
- Who had the most insane high school English Teacher? We offer a variety of options.
- Ample Vigour believes we need to know more about Robotech. Sigh…
This was the night Chibi-Robo! was announced for Gamecube Nintendo Switch 2 Online. That would prompt a stream… you maybe already saw.- “I will not acknowledge anything called scrotum bird.”
- Name all of Dan Hibiki’s friends.
- “Edward is notoriously a Mets fan.”
- “Somebody has got Bananaza on the brain.” “It’s really good!”
- BEAT has difficulty with the Lynx boss battle, so we discuss great game overs in gaming history.
- Caliscrub joins as “BEAT’s getting his ass kicked.”
- The plot is sorted for the week, so we decide to hit some bonus content.
- “He made you have down arrow.” “Yes, down arrow is really bad in this game!”
- And we close out with Piastol, who is annoyingly deadly. Will BEAT play again from an older save file to keep everyone’s levels consistent? Or will he just move on without worrying about that level of OCD? Find out next week!
