Wild Arms 3 Part 20: Rest Virginia

Come on guys, let’s play on September 12, Faker Day. The marketplace of Little Twister is full of fake shops like fake moneychangers and fake pharmacies. A faker is someone who goes into these shops without prior knowledge of fake items, otherwise known as bait. Since fakers had higher survival rates than those who knew how to identify fake stuff, the Little Twister Tourist Committee named the day Faker Day.

See? So I guess we’ll have a little writeup of what happened in Wild Arms 3, and how…

Oh, maybe we can squeeze an update out of Melody standing around and rubbing it in.

“These guys suck. Do I need to write that down for next time?”

Come to think of it, like, literally no one is resisting the Prophets right now. Nobody knows they exist! If our team is dead, then what is the battle data good for? Gotta fight the united army of Jolly Roger or something?

What’s this!? A cat from behind!?!

Wild Arms 3 Part 19: She Murdered Me with Science

Going to give the ol’ block quotes a workout today. And speaking of today, today is September 5, Food Chain Day. I just learned this word in my textbook yesterday. I thought that food is linked together like a chain, but I was wrong

Previously on Wild Arms 3: We went to the village of Little Rock, and then explored a dungeon. This week, we are going to…

Oh, this just screams redundancy.

We might have the same basic trajectory in this update, but at least the townsfolk have decided to update with a new quest.

To the laboratory!

Wild Arms 3 Part 18: The Dying of the Light

Going to go ahead and post this on Gogglebob.com on August 29, Ponytail Day. Growing out your hair and strapping it into a ponytail is the new fashion all over Filgaia. Some people get the urge to yank on a ponytail, but pulling one will cause it to explode, blowing both of you to smithereens.

Previously on Wild Arms 3: After a lovely little jaunt into a sewer, Janus unleashed his true power, and left the party reeling. Well… I mean… that is the plot explanation of what happened… But our gang kind of still has 90% of their HP, so “reeling” may be a bit of an exaggeration.

Regardless, we are out in the open wasteland looking for shelter.

This walk to Little Rock is not that long, but it can be difficult if you actually are stumbling from the Janus encounter.

And here we are. You must “discover” Little Rock with your radar, but the geography gives you a pretty significant clue for where to look.

Time to rock around the Little Rock…

Wild Arms 2 Part 38: The Final Fate of Filgaia: Liz & Ard & The Pyramids of Nightmares

Previously on Wild Arms 2: Irving is an asshole. But we already knew that. Huh. Guess nothing happened. And that’s just fine! Because now it’s time for…

Wild Arms 2’s Last Remaining Sidequests

At this point, ARMS can descend to the center of Filgaia (or something), and call this whole game’s worth of missions a success. But why do that when we can…

Visit Damzen City for absolutely no reason.

Stick hidden character Marivel in the lead, and Luka, a random NPC that you would never think to revisit in a million years, will spout some unique dialogue.

Marivel is key, obviously.

Apparently Luka was referring to Marivel’s floating weapons that don’t actually appear outside of battle, that literally no one else in the game has ever directly referred to (there were a few books, though).

I feel bad for the localizers that poured minutes of their lives into this exchange’s translation.

Here we go! Not counting the final dungeon, these are directions to the last “undiscovered” dungeon in the game…
