Welcome back to the Tony Hawkathon for a game not featuring Tony Hawk. Grind Session was released between Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 & Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2, and it brings its own unique features to the table. For one thing, there’s Pigpen. Additionally, there is Skater’s Eye Mode, which pauses the clock and lets you view the world like a real-life skater (that can see where to perform mission objectives). And, hey, the whole game plays and controls well, too, so earning your own mansion is a breeze. This adds up to Grind Session being a fun little game from 2000 for when you want to get away from the grind.

Random Notes:
- We have got fanboymaster showcasing Grind Session, and BEAT, Cassandralyn, Chromes, Jeanie, Morning Song, and myself providing random commentary.
- Pigpen wins the character select poll (with one vote), and thus we must look up this real grinder online. He apparently has a lot of tattoos. And vacation time.
- Hey, this was recorded right after the Eagles dominated the Super Bowl. Go birds!
- Skating is about a lot of things, like Lesbian Bear Storms.
- Blade Chimera was fresh in our minds at this point, so fanboymaster conquers a skatepark as we discuss the finer points of that adventure.
- Future artists will never be able to properly replicate the Tails Trolled image.
- Caliscrub joins as we start the final level. Don’t worry! There is still more game left!
So we beat the game, but now it is time to go back and score a bunch of keys to rooms in a mansion. Whatever. Let’s talk about Tomb Raider.- While fanboymaster steps away from the controller for a moment, we enjoy a short, animated feature.
